Heart4More’s Kitchen

Some of our ambassadors took part in part in our newly formed cooking challenge, as part of our Heart4More’s Kitchen series. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Hector Bellerin, Danielle Carter & Chuba Akpom were all involved in the challenge which was filmed just before Christmas. The purpose of the new series, Heart4More’s Kitchen is to highlight the importance of eating healthy foods, using ingredients that are good for your heart while showing just how easy the recipes can be put together – or so we thought, some of our ambassadors proved it to be anything but easy!

We teamed up with Arsenal media to produce the two-part episode which provided us with some comical, controversial and entertaining moments. Tobi Alabi had this to say regarding the new series, “It’s a great initiative and one that I’m very proud of, the idea came to me in 2015 and I took it to the guys at Arsenal in 2016 after we returned from our successful project in South Africa, which was funded by the Arsenal Foundation. They believed in the idea and after getting Ox, Chuba & Danielle on board as ambassadors everything just fell into place.

We have some really fantastic ambassadors at clubs across the four professional divisions, the world of entertainment and athletics. We are blessed in that sense that they are so willing to get involved and support whatever we do. Ultimately the initiative is for educational purposes, while you’re engaged in the entertainment put before you, you’re also subconsciously learning about foods that are good for your heart. Whether it be through the cooking challenge or the one-minute meals with Milli Taylor!”
